Blood makes up about 7 lbs of your body weight. A typically person has about 10 pints of blood in his/her body. Due to accidents, surgeries, or transfusions the need for blood is constant. Sadly, only 4 out of 100 available donors actually give blood. The UW-Plattville RHA Blood Drive will be February 14th through the 16th. It is important to eat healthy and drink lots of water before donating. This ensures a quick, and safe donating process as well as reducing/eliminating the symptoms after donating. Help save a life by donating blood! If you cannot donate consider volunteering instead.
